Firstly I have the battlefield of desserts to overcome, not to mention choosing a meal that is actually tasty that isn't covered in hidden sugars from sauces etc.
Secondly I have to figure out how I am going to enjoy my beverages. My drink of choice is usually scotch and coke. I can do coke zero but I haven't touched softdrink for 21 days and finally I've beaten the cravings. Do I want to go down that road again? That leaves soda water and the thought of soda water mixed with anything makes me wanna spew. I know people rave about vodka, lime and soda water but I've tried it before and it tasted like it needed a personality or something. I'm not doing shots because that can only end bad, well it will if I'm just doing shots for my drinks.... So what would you like to start the evening? "Oh just a shot of tequilla please... riiiight.
Thirdly I will have to face the need to get subway or a kebab if my night takes me out on the town. Does subway do sourdough bread? Who knows....
Fourthly I will have to finally face the hangover hunger the next day. No greasy maccas for me but I should be able to have a cooked breakfast of ham and eggs if that helps.
So tonight will be interesting... Whats the bet that I'm so shattered from the week I've had, that as soon as a drop of alcohol touches my lips, it will make me want to go home and go to sleep.... could happen!
